Los Angeles witnessed citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Fans worldwide joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Local events included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy high.
